Support Your Local Business

1st there was Black Friday.  Then Cyber Monday.  Last year began Small Business Saturday.

Tomorrow, Saturday November 26, is Small Business Saturday.

There are 2 different initiatives to save our locally owned businesses, The 3/50 Project & Small Business Saturday.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and the cornerstones of our Nation’s promise.  These businesses create two out of every three new jobs in America,” President Obama.

Ponder these facts from The 3/50 Project:

If 50% of the US population spent $50 of monthly budget at locally owned business it would generate more than $42 million annually.

For every $100 spent locally, $68 returns to the community in taxes, payroll & business expenses.

For that same $100 spent with a chain or big box store $68 drops to $43 returns to the community.

For that same $100 spent online, unless the retailer is local, $0 of the money returns to your community.

YOU can save Central PA Business with just $50 a month!!!
